Regardless the report says antisemitism was used as a factional weapon against Corbyn. That's what I thought at the time as did many others. Corbyn was suspended for saying as much. It was true though.

Corbyn was a firecracker and I thought quite strong willed which meant he would never have been easily influenced by the likes of the WEF. That made him a non-starter. In terms of influential media, in a world where opinions that do not align with the globalist narrative are essentially silenced/cancelled, he was the public enemy number one, while Starmer is quite the opposite. Perhaps a serious discussion on a political level about Gaza etc (given it's emotive nature) could not take place without accusations of anti-semitism.

I'm hoping that this is some clever ploy to trick members of the public who think spending is like a credit card rather than ideology or ignorance of macroeconomics.

I know it's not a popular view on here (and it seems unpopular views are more and more frequently ridiculed, be it about football or politics) but there are thousands, millions of people who feel disenfranchised by what Starmer's Labour is "offering".

There were certainly many more thousands / millions disenfranchised under the previous labour government.

People have just got to suck it up and realise, much like a small child at Xmas, you can’t have everything you want in exactly the way you want it.

The MOST important thing is making sure we don’t have a Tory government - pretty much every election ever has shown that the left of the Labour Party will deliver a Tory government without fail.

The question is this. How many of the left won't vote in a GE for a Starmer led Labour Party versus those in the centre who wouldn't vote for a Corbyn one and of those who won't how many live in constituencies that matter? That's politics and why he's got a greater chance of being PM than Corbyn ever did.

I was covering the General Election for local radio in 2017, Corbyn was very close to becoming PM and many local Tories on the night were speaking openly about the possibility. Several Tory wins with majorities of 500 votes or less could have gone the other way and led to the possibility of Corbyn becoming PM as part of a coalition government…assuming other parties were willing and 2017 Corbyn was much less tarnished than 2019 Corbyn.

Starmer has not led the party through a GE campaign yet but I fear he is as capable as Teresa May at throwing away a healthy poll lead.
