Keir Starmer at it again..

Violent disorder is a more serious crime than assault. That's just the reality of the sentencing guidelines which predate this government.

Yes, sorry Tony I was just outlining what the Farage types will be using for their comparisons when the MP gets litter picking duties.

Taking her kid to the skate park but saw a crowd being racist and angry...fuck skating son, let's go tell some people they deserve to die, throw bricks at the hotel, shout abuse at the police and I'll get you a chippy tea after

Deserving of a kebab surely?

appointing alan milburn to advise on the nhs isn't a good idea. some of his "reforms" under blair were terrible ideas.

Yeah I've got a mortgage offer locked in 0.23% lower than what's now being advertised. Went to check after the interest rate drop thinking the opposite might happen but fully aware optimism had already been baked into the market. All said and done, it's the right budget IMV, even if my rate ends up changing.

No matter what, or who, gets taxed, it's ultimately always just the average Joe on the street that pays it.

Tesco’s figure of £1bn was over the five years of this Parliament. They obviously think it gets more traction than £200m a year.
Nice one, thanks mate. I couldn't make it add up.

Still means that it's not just the little guy paying the bill. £1bn is £1bn.

Now to go after the likes of Amazon (who people on here bizarrely seem to like in general, they are a horrific company)

Everyone knows our public sector needs investment to prevent it crumbling to dust. Obviously some people would be happy to let that happen. The remainder either believe in magic money trees or accept you need to raise taxes, and most of the latter group think someone else should pay it. I’m quite happy Tesco will pay more, even if it will have a slight knock on effect.
