The fine comes from the mods and can be transparent, either based on type of offence or the number. Don't pay, don't post that's your choice. A permanent ban means you don't have one.

Permanent bans are left for physical threats, sock puppets or letting your idiot sons use your login.
Fair enough. Just think it could cause a few issues itself. Especially if the perp disagrees with a fine and a few others do.

I get a permanent ban means you don’t have one. With only posting here in random bursts (sure I’m missed when I take my hiatus’) I can’t comment on where it’s been said it’s not a one off etc .

Why can’t we all just play nicely ey

Like I stated, some will find the remark acceptable...
Some find objectifying women as acceptable, but that's a different conversation. I still wouldn't go reporting it, or banning people over it

I'm sure somebody could call the hypothetical police after the hypothetical incident has taken place.
J75's 'imflammatory' #headstovedin post was on Sunday morning. He continued posting up until yesterday (he had a spat with Saturday Boy IIRC?), so I'm guessing (hypothetically) there's probably (hypothetically) more to the admin's decision than just the Sunday morning post?

Some people like dark humour, others don't.

Hard to really know the context from a) just reading it on a screen and b) not asking the person the context.

Forum rules below. Based on leedswolf totting up, not double figures and it would seem like a 6 day ban would be appropriate if a ban was appropriate in the first place - I don't think it was appropriate and definitely not a permanent ban, posters should be able to call him out for being a dick when he is being a dick.

He is a troll, abusive, petty, argumentative and at times nasty. These are not traits that only he exhibits on here.

He is also a regular snitch to the mods apparently which we all know now which is good to be aware of. Everybody loves a tell-tale.

So going forward the Mod team will be working on this basis

- Argument is getting out of hand a Mod/Admin post to say calm down and saying which posters need to either walk away or use the ignore function
- Request is ignored - Those involved will get 24 hours to cool off. Can't walk away from pointless stuff, we shall assist
- Multiple times sent off away by the Mods will start to add up the days away. 1st and 2nd time will be just the 1 day. 3rd time it will jump to 3 days, 4th time - 4 days etc .
Hit an 7th time and look forward to a month off. If you hit double figures, then it will be discussed whether you actually want to be on here.
