Jeff Shi GONE

Jeff Shi has stepped down as executive chairman of Wolves.

Fosun's Nathan Shi (no relation to Jeff) has taken over in the interim.

Club now working on a permanent replacement.
I was going to ask if he was a relation. Looks very young.

The cynic in me doesn’t think it will be much of a change in direction, but we will see

Who the fuck is this Nathan Shi, been at Wolves for ten years. Never heard his name mentioned ever and now he's going to lead the club into finding a new chairman. I'm baffled.

It's a PR stunt, a pleasurable one, but still a PR stunt. He's still in charge of Fosun Sports, so will effectively be the boss of whoever they appoint, unless they separate the 2 entities

I think Nathan shi has been at Fosun for 10 years rather than wolves

Looks like he was working at Club Med? Unlikely to be someone with any football knowledge but I guess we'll have to see.

Hopefully it doesn't take the heat off Fosun.

So it would appear that Jeff's completely tone deaf interview last weekend has finally seen him off.

Don't expect it to make any difference but a small victory for the fans, although probably of little benefit in the long term.

Its still a small win for everyone though in the sense they are sort of listening? I don't know how to word that properly but it feels like a step forward for someone somewhere at Fosun being "wait, why do they all hate us now?".

Clearly Fosun have reacted to the adverse publicity. Whether it makes any difference remains to be seen but I see it as a small step in the right direction.
