January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I understand some exit. But dont understand only 2 join.

I try say: better start a pre-season now, to integrate more the player to the next seasson.

In this next summer market are hard to sign players because the world cup, and next only have 1 month to try integrate that players.
And that’s the rub: we’re not a club that does sensible things. It’s a pattern going back at least 3 years before you signed up here.

If that’s confusing to you, prepare to be confused all the time. We’re just not run very well.

Thing is the Armstrong signing shows that we have got an eye on next season. We can't say that outright in public (we know this guy is basically Kenny Miller for the 2020s, so ignore this season with him) but that's what we're looking at. You could argue the same for the manager and his profile.

Problem is that every single Championship side from Swansea (16th) upwards has more chance right now of being in the PL than we do come August. So even signing players from that level isn't easy as it stands. Why would you come here now, just wait.

I suppose I’m not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they’ve signed Armstrong as an asset for Championship football. Time will tell.

In my dreams, A Gomes is the new Neves. The first piece of a revival. Armstrong is the Bonatini. In the summer, we will bring in some young, talented players and a few hardened pros and build a team that takes the championship by storm. Done it before, do it again.

Or Leicester.

Well, somebody’s got to say it…….

I think that’s a very satisfactory January transfer window.
It is. Got great fees for some shite and brought in Angel fucking Gomes. 😍😍😂😂

If this is how Shi and Jackson operate then things bode very well. However, this is still Fosun, and one swallow doesn't make a summer.

Hard pressed to think of a more disappointing signing for me personally.

Johnson (most people's #1 target that summer) and O'Hara (superb on loan and a must have permanently, it seemed) surely.

Arias was crap but at least we got our money back, which puts him in the same bracket as Ratheus and Nathan Airhead.
