January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Standard Turkish signing stuff innit.

Players are met by a crowd of insane fans, so have to join in. Ignore them at your own risk.

Still, fuck off son

So we’re gonna make around €1m profit on Agbadou, €6m profit on Arias & around €25m profit on JSL.

Three players who don’t/didn’t want to be here. Given the season they’ve all had, I think that’s a pretty good effort to not lose money.

Fosun will of course bank a high % of that.
Well run Club?;)

Fosun have never taken a penny out of the club have they? There's plenty to blame Fosun for but I don't think that is one.

Maybe not directly, but if you think this money is going to result in a PL-standard summer signing spree in the Championship, or any sort of investment into the grounds and facilities, I have a Esports Stadium to sell you.

Do you think they'll re-invest it all back in the squad?
If they need to make a hypothetical £30m on player transfer profits to break even then you’d imagine that the difference is available. We’ve yet to see accounts for 2025 and 2026 is far from being over.
What is unforgivable is that we’ve gone from having a top 7 squad and meeting the rules to having a shite squad. Seeing the accounts for 2025 will start to tell us if surpluses have been made or we’re paying out the equivalent for the rabble at our disposal now.

Our income drops enormously in a few months so they'd be plenty fucking stupid if they did.

We're also very likely to lose thousands off the gate, and they can't keep ticket prices where they are, so another hit to the finances.

We have agreed a fee with Palmeiras for Jhon Arias, he will travel next week. Palmeiras also want Pedro Lima

Our transfer windows/ business are just plain embarrassing.
SInce Nuno went, Id say this one just gone has been one of the best or at least its been sensible. Only the Lop one was better.
Of course its only been putting the Summer window right to a certain extent and we remain to see how they fuck it up this Summer.

Best how?

I'd rather not be punting on statement signings six months after signing them... likewise in the windows before when the signings are no longer at the club.

It's pathetic and indicative of a recruitment policy that is deeply flawed at best.

Plus, I doubt in the majority of those outgoings that we'll be showing that much of a profit given the cut that agent(s) will be taking.
