January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Ive not seen him as many as most others on here but when I have, always thought Rodrigo looked better at WB, seemed to get a bit lost further forward to me. I accept he's a bit lightweight and lacking defensively but maybe a good time to give him plenty of minutes to try and improve those issues ready for next season.

Yep, get rid, has absolutely dived.

Of course we need a replacement.

A good option:

Daijiro Chiniro Almeria, 23 Years Old. (the number 22 on this video, CB, AND RW)

But the best is....Affengruber It perfect for yous, he play in first division, first seasson and are one of best cb here.

1 Year ago i propose he, but now is more hard, have many teams back he... he is sweeper .

Oh, and Pubill dont play much on Atletico de Madrid. But he is more oriented to wing.

Given as it stands we haven’t got any competent wingbacks I’d look to go to a back four asap. Bring in an experienced CH and play Mosquera alongside him. Even if we don’t do it this season it should be what we aim for next season.

I agree you use the money to try play 4-5-1, more quality on MFs and try sell one GK and buy another good.

Deportivo Coruña they get a free gk better than Sa and Jonsthone and the last game:

We can't let Agbadou go without a replacement . He's better than Toti I'd suggest .

I'm happy with out 3 centre backs right now , but injures and suspensions will happen .

Curious what you think could go wrong if we have a few suspensions/ injuries to deal with?!

Sky Italia saying João Gomes has agreed to move to Napoli in the summer. No agreement between the clubs yet.

No shock there - no way he was going to be hanging around in the Championship. One of the few players I actually wish well for the future, even though he's been way below his best this season.

Do Napoli have the funds to buy him? Or am I doing the usual over valueing Wolves players thing?

Their top 10 transfer fees:

Victor Osimhen: €78.9m (from Lille, 2020)
Hirving Lozano: €50m (from PSV, 2019)
Gonzalo Higuaín: €39m (from Real Madrid, 2013)
Konstantinos Manolas: €36m (from Roma, 2019)
Alessandro Buongiorno: €35m (from Torino, 2024)
Giacomo Raspadori: €28m (from Sassuolo, 2022/2023)
Arkadiusz Milik: €32m (from Ajax, 2016)
Edinson Cavani: €17m (from Palermo, 2010)
Fabián Ruiz: €30m (from Real Betis, 2018)
Dries Mertens: €9.5m (from PSV, 2013)

So... Maybe? In a normal world you'd expect João to be more than Higuaín and less than Lozano on that list but then again we did just sell Aït-Nouri for £15-20M below value so who knows what we value Gomes at.
