Mendes’ involvement in Wolves has seen some of the finest players and greatest times of my Wolves supporting career.

Who knows when those times will be back but I’ll never forget following Wolves into Europe and watching us at Wembley.

While Mendes has loads of justifiable critics, I’ll be forever in his debt for bringing me Neves, Moutinho, Patricio, Jota and more.
