January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I understand why we might want to get players in for next season but why would a good Championship player come to us and enjoy a relegation procession when they could move to a PL team with a chance of staying up or a Championship team with a chance of promotion, or wait until the summer.

Money, opportunity, selling a new project. Some I absolutely agree with you on. But there will be targets, fringe players etc. i would be looking at and targeting any players on the fringes of World cup squads for example.

James Trafford on loan for instance.

Never getting into the City team and has a shot at the WC if he can play and impress for the rest of the season.
An injury to Donarumma would see him starting. Whilst he might want to come I’d be amazed if City would let him go as it could be the difference between winning the PL, CL and FA Cup. It’s not line they need the money.

Ramsdale, he loves a good, old fashioned relegation

Incredible to think John Ruddy is still knocking about. Oh for the days when we had Rui Patricio with Ruddy as back up

You guys have option, but need sign good player to avoid that down category.

In January 2024 y talk about one player called David Affengruber 23 years old of Elche, in second división. And talk about how nice cb are that. Now he is in first división and one of best CB of the league and have teams like Manchester, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Sevilla are watching he...

You guys need find that type of players, good player on second division on good leagues (hypermotion, championship, Serie B, 2 Bundesliga). In the second división of high leagues have good players.

You guys need a GK, CB(good def/pass), DMF (tall and diferent of Andre/Gomes), and two wing forwards. (5 players)

Try sell Sa, Toti, Bueno... and buy that players. But start move now...

Have teams like R.Sociedad have a lot good players, and need made exits, but in that position its more hard find players of first division.

But need start move now, and try close that players starting with the wing forwards and the dmf. More late sign, more time need to integratión, and january have hard games and are the best way to integrate fast....

Will admit I haven't seen them this season. But Viktor Johnanson at Stoke has extremely impressive stats again from a quick scan. I would look at someone like that target wise (obviously with a lot more effort if it was my job). Would be up for the move presumably as Stoke currently 7th. And he has the added benefit you know he is good enough for the Championship, unlike Johnstone who I suspect would struggle there also, and feel like like Sa is gone in January personally.

Stoke 7th and in with a good chance of POs. Definitely more likely to be playing PL next season than we are. Why move now - if Stoke don’t go up he can make a decision in the summer.

Being 7th now means they could finish anywhere though in that league. Pay rise now and he might believe its a better chance for next year being at ours, depending on what they suggest or are planning.

Let's not be silly now, our clowns in the big gloves are still marginally better than Meslier
I have think Meslier is capable of monumentally bad errors but not sure aside from them he’s as bad as Sa or Johnstone who have probably averaged a goal against a game this season.

Having been unable to win the keeper spot back under the new manager, I think Sa is done. Given SJ poor form and low ceiling low floor, I can only imagine how Sa played v Chelsea is how his training levels are.

If we get to January and there is no movement of keeper I think that is when I will start to really force myself not to watch, as I can't cope with it anymore.
