January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I see Cristian Uche's loan at Palace is likely to be terminated early as he hasn't featured in a single game so far.

Hardly encouraging but I wonder whether he would be worth a punt?

Uche are like Muntesi, Arias, FerLo....

Same position (ofensive midfields orientated to center)...

You guys need one DMF (To supply Andre)
Two Wing Ofensive Forwards Left and Right, goal and assist.

Andre and Joao Gomes are both defensive midfielders, what we need is an attacking midfielder with some skill and though to assist those two.

I remember watching this and being really excited about Lopez...

FerLo its great, but he dont played in the team of Robert. And Robert play a bit more ofensive vs Victor.

Only have 4 player made assist on Wolves league, and all made only 1 assistance:

Krejic(795 mins), Muntesi(868 mins), Wolfe(317 mins), and FerLo(118 mins)

Arias(652 min): 0
Bellegarde(572 min): 0

Without min its hard show how u play.

Football Insider (that hive of wretched scum and villainy) suggests that we are exploring getting Adama back in January.

If we are going for getting the band back together, can I suggest that Neves, Boly, Saiss, Moutinho, Raul and Johnny would be rather higher up the list of desirable returnees. Not that they would come, which is something they all have in common with Adama.

Personally, I can't see Shi being prepared to spend enough during the window to attract the experience and quality needed to strengthen the squad. (I think there's no way that we'll avoid relegation).

We'll be looking at free agents like Jesse Lingard and Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain who have both said they want to return to the Premier League. I can't see many teams being interested in them. I doubt Wolves will be prepared to page the wages for them so I'm not worried that we'll sign them.

One position we may have a chance to improve is goal keeper. Playing behind an open defence could be attractive to a goalie who wants to demonstrate his shot stopping and command of the 6-yard box to boost his chances of going to the World Cup. Probably wishful thinking on my part.

I can't see any reason why a player on reasonable wages would not agree to come here on loan if they are presently sitting on a subs bench somewhere in a PL team , only getting 5 mins here and there .
What's to lose for them ? They should get game time if they are up for it , if they make in impression then that will get noted , and they can still return to their parent club if they wish in May .
We clearly will not be able to sign players on a permanent basis - it will be all loans I would think , but I still think that certain players will come .

How many loan players can we field in a first XI? Is it maximum 4?
I believe the EPL rules state that a club can only have two loanees from other "domestic" clubs. Apparently, the EPL rules don't limit the total number of loanees but there may be a FIFA limit.

There’s a limit of how many can be in a squad - I think it’s five - so that in itself probably means a total limit in unnecessary.

Besiktas interested in taking Agbadou in January and he is said to be open to a move

It’s very sad that I won’t be upset at anyone leaving. Take the money and bank it for Rui Pedro to spend in the summer.

I’d hope we’d look at every possibility on getting 3 or 4 decent players in to try and save our season. The teams above us could panic if we started getting points and who knows. We know how hard it is to get out of the championship so let’s go for a rescue now

Mate, I admire your optimism at this stage and I normally hang on to every bit of comfort I can but this season is done. The best we can hope for is get rid of the players who have just given up and get a few fighters in so we scramble a few wins together before the end of the season and hope they are up to the Championship.

To many quiet this winter market.... 18 days to open it, need close any sign to start most soon in january.

Dont made the same error or summer market and wait to 31 january.

We’re not staying up so who we bring in doesn’t really matter and the main recruitment will have to be in the summer. There’s one exception and that has to be a goalkeeper. Having to watch Johnstone, Sa or Bentley give away a goal a game is more depressing than the prospect of relegation now that’s as good as confirmed.

100% on keeper obviously. But I refuse to buy into the it needs to be summer stance. Given how long some players can take to adapt, regardless of difficulties of potential relegation they are throwing away the opportunity of being actually prepared and ready as can be for a relegated side, but not trying now to improve.

I understand why we might want to get players in for next season but why would a good Championship player come to us and enjoy a relegation procession when they could move to a PL team with a chance of staying up or a Championship team with a chance of promotion, or wait until the summer.
