January 2022 Transfer Thread

As somebody who goes every week I'd sacrifice him beating 5 if he would consistently beat one and put it on a six pence.

It was much easier when we bought shite that would be even more shite when they left us.

I hope he does brilliantly for Barcelona as we might be waiting a while before we have to play them. That's why I am glad he has left the league.

Everybody in the game seems to say that Adama is an absolutely fantastic bloke so I wish him every success in his new club.
Spot on

In an oxymoronic way, I'm happier to have Adama gone so that I can cheer for his successes without having to feel the sting of his, er, usual play.

As said above, seems a genuinely good bloke which is some going for a guy who was as hyped as he was at a young age.

very sad to see him go, but i guess im pretty much on my own here..will not be as exciting to watch wolves after this

I believe it'll cost us 6m euros to not buy trincao
Sunk cost though. Doesn't mean throwing another £20m at it is the right thing to do.

Edit I guess it shows we aren't getting the freebie(ish) loans like N'Daiye, Jota, Boly etc now we are where we are, which is to be expected I suppose

Always possible he continues to grow in form (I really think he's been underrated in the last few matches) and suddenly we're not mad about buying him.

Having that freedom is the best possible outcome here, IMO.

There may well have been penalties for not buying Jota, Boly et Al. N'daiye we probably paid a loan fee for

I think it's one of those things where it's the least worse option and protects us from paying the bigger transfer fee along with wages for the next n years.

So the £5.4m loan fee, is that the penalty or is this £6m in addition to that? Surely not

My guess it as been set up the same as the Jose deal.

Loan fee agreed but not paid until end of loan. Sign him for the agreed fee, which Inc's the loan fee or send him back and pay the £6m loan fee.
