I'm way more cynical than most and my bar for politicians is almost on the floor. Rich calling the shots, complicit media, undemocratic system, Overton window, Iraq lies blah blah blah have battered me over the years. However, I always thought that there was a limit - a basic level of decency - a line that would not be crossed. I thought children being blown up would be that line. Even then, I never expected my govt to condemn it - heaven forbid - but I thought they may at least stop supporting it. Turns out there is no line. No basic level of decency. This conflict has shown us who we really are.

You think that was what the Israeli military were doing when they murdered 15 first responders from Red Crescent, buried their bodies in a mass grave, and lied about it to the world? I tend to feel like it's more just more Israeli genocide and lies personally.

Calm down, it was a response to your suggestion you punch someone down the pub in the face. The IDF are completely out of control and with Gaza locked down to independent scrutiny they are doing whatever they please. This was just the latest of a litany of war crimes. Their standard procedure is deny everything and when they get found out claim it was a mistake. No decent human would support their actions in any way.
