Israel-Palestine

Be interesting to see what happens now, apparently a very impotent attack by Iran that’s done zero damage.
 
If only we'd allowed the Palestinians a state of their own much of this could have been avoided. Thank God the grown ups are in charge.
 
Iran State TV showing historical footage of explosions. They’ll claim they’ve done what they needed to do and the US will tell Israel to leave it at that for the time being.
 
What Israel does next will have massive consequences for the region, and probably the us presidential race too.
 
Israel won’t retaliate as no one was killed or any damage done, they know a retaliation puts the whole region into de-facto state of war
 
I actually think there's a fair chance that will be that tbh. Iran will have known that the chances of causing any damage are basically nil, but they've made a show of strength domestically. Netanyahu's domestic position is also strengthened by successful defence. US will pass the bill for more money to Israel in return for no military response to Iran.

If course the big losers are Gazans. The west will politically double down on "see this is why we need to give Israel our steadfast support in defending herself against Iran-backed Hammas" as they continue the genocide of the Palestinian people

Exactly this. We've had multiple statements already eagerly condemning Iran whilst totally ignoring the fact that Israel attacked their embassy first. Israel has the right to defend herself. No other cunt does.
 
It's a bit deeper than that isn't it? Iran and Israel have been going at it for decades

Aye, but this is the first time (in my living memory, at least) that Iran haven't used a proxy for their attack.
 
Dull silver lining: Biden has told Netanyahu that the US will not support any offensive operations against Iran.
