Israel-Palestine

Of course not. But what benefit does anyone get from supporting PA specifically, rather than any one of the other pro-Palestine groups that are full of violent psychopaths?

Its like saying 'I have to support the Subway Army because they're pro Wolves'. No, you dont.

(I dont even know if SA are still a thing tbh....)

They're not "full of violent psychopaths" though, are they? There's hyperbole, and there's that.

They attacked a policewoman with a sledgehammer, breaking her back in the process. Presumably thats just sparkling contrarianism in your book?

Poor attempt at deflection. The point wasn’t that there are no violent psychopaths.

OK, sure. How many violent psychopaths are tolerable?

And its a good job nobody makes generalisations about the IDF, right?

In any group of people there will be those that go too far, they should face consequences. The examples you gave are and already were criminal acts, punishable in law.and carrying custodial sentences.

The IDF are the armed forces of a government who have, by their own admission, conducted operations in Gaza with the intention of removing the civilian population. In doing so, they have caused the deaths of tens of thousands of people.

But you write this off as a generalisation. Right?

So you agree that there should be consequences. I agree.

The proscription of PA is a consequence.

From BBC News

Israel's security cabinet has approved the recognition of 19 new settlements in the occupied West Bank as the government continues its settlement expansion push.

Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a settler who proposed the move alongside Defence Minister Israel Katz, said the decision was about blocking the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are considered illegal under international law.
