Is Vitor Pereira A Good Manager Or Should He Go?

Saying we just shouldn't bother, all is lost after 8 games, with 30 games to play and 90 points to play for is ludicrous/ridiculous.

You're entitled to your view, and I'm entitled to think it is absurd to think that way, and thank God you're not involved with the decision making as this is worse than even Shi's.
You don’t think people are entitled to there view at all. If you did you wouldn’t spend a significant portion of your life getting embroiled in your silly little circular arguments, your petty little dig in bold being a classic example.

Yeah I'm not going to engage with your attempts to play to the gallery and play the poster rather than the post. I'll keep to the topic.

So lets imagine a world where Shi goes with what you want to happen, and he continues to keep VP and his team to save a few quid, and we go another 5, 10, 20 games without a win. You think the club will benefit from that in the long term? You think that won't create a ridiculously toxic atmosphere and make us even more undesirable?

That's what you suggested, and that's what I challenged.

I'm not all that convinced that Pereira is going to pick up that big a pay cheque as some have suggested if he were sacked say on Monday coming .
Yes - he got a new contract on top of the year that he had to serve on the previous one , but there surely are clauses built into that , where he would have had to get a certain number of points by a certain date etc .

Anyway , maybe we can get a win at the weekend - and then who knows .

State of this. Goes with what I said earlier about not creating any chances and then feeling like we have to score the ones we do create. Turns out we already score most of them! We really are truly fucked.

Stats backing up what we already knew. This is one stat that doesn't lie!

Surely it also suggests, that if we do actually start creating some chances, we will finish them...
Not really, regression to the mean is more likely.

By way of an example, do you remember how early on Sa was saving far more than expected, how did that work out in the long run?

The players we have that are good aren't mobile enough. And the players that we have that are mobile aren't much good.

Who actually is there we could conceivably bring in??
I think we're doomed regardless (mind, I said that last December) but you simply cannot keep losing all the time and do nothing.

We can't actually get any worse and I don't think he'd want to manage in the Championship anyway, even if you thought he was good enough, which it doesn't look like he is.

3 year deal.

Someone like Carrick might.

Stock dropped a fair bit over the last 12 months. Not going to get a PL gig otherwise. Well enough off personally that it's not like he needs to keep working for the next 20 years, it's almost a bit of a hobby for him. If he takes over and we go down, well it wasn't his fault, was it.

I'd roll that dice.

Wouldn't bother if it was some cunt like Allardyce (who thankfully I am pretty sure is finished now).

I would prefer it if you simply didn't engage at all, not with me anyway. Ta.
