Is Vitor Pereira A Good Manager Or Should He Go?

I'm not even happy about this, the damage has been and will continue to be done levels above the Head coach

Whatever he gets, smartest thing he did was sign that contract when offered it in September. Everyone except the Idiots in Charge could see where things were heading.

Why does everyone assume that signing a new contract automatically means there's now downside for the signee?

None of us know the caveats included in this new contract.

We do know the track record of the absolute shit cunt issuing the contract though. Adama to Barcelona anyone?

Because most people wouldn’t sign it otherwise

So if you had one year left on your contract with a one year severance clause, you wouldn't sign a three year contract with a one year severance clause?

Yeah, course not 🙄

Vitor would never have signed it if he was going to get less money in a payout than his initial deal. Even if it's £5 more he still came out on top as soon as the contract was offered.

Not be sacked - get paid
Be sacked - get paid

It was always the club/Shi that had to blink first, which is why it made no sense offering him the new deal in September.

Like White Line giving the captain of the Titanic a new deal in the minutes after hitting the iceberg.

He actually was out of contract as soon as he docked in New York as he was retiring
