Probably time for a dedicated thread as it’s not all about Trump. Iran have responded to the Israeli attack on the South Pars gas installations by attacking a Qatar refinery causing extensive damage.

Looks like Israel is doing as much as possible to escalate things and it’s beginning to look like there’s no foreseeable end to this and even when there is the damage done is going to have a long lasting impact.

It’s time for Israel and the USA to stop bombing, it’s clear that Iran will still be able to hit enough targets to make it impossible to open the Straits of Hormuz and also cause huge damage elsewhere. Killing a few leaders in Iran won’t make any difference, they’ve got more replacements than surrounding countries have refineries! I think the only hope is Trump claims he’s stopped the nuclear programme and claims it as a win, and hope the Iranians are prepared to abide by a ceasefire.

Put it this way, if they didn’t do the job the first time I’m sceptical they’ve done so this time. So yes, a double elimination probably means Iran’s nuclear capability hasn’t been completely degraded.

I'm possibly not paying enough attention and/or have a fair amount of ignorance, but am really confused by israels actions. I was under the impression at the start of conflict that Israel wanted to change the Iran regime, but they seem to be more focused on attacking Lebanon?
I appreciate they say they're targeting hezbollah, but Netanyahu is quite the warmonger! How come they have so much weaponry?

It becomes clearer by the day Trump was Netanyahu’s puppet. Israel don’t give a moment’s thought to the consequences of their actions beyond the impact on Israel. So ironic Trump is falling out with everyone except the puppet master who got him, and the rest of the world, into this mess.

Israel is taking the opportunity, whilst the world is looking elsewhere, to inflict as much damage as possible onto Hezbollah in Lebanon and to hell with any civilian casualties. Israel receives a lot of military aid from the US but also has a huge domestic arms industry which makes a lot of money from exports.

Israel, being a bunch of psychotic lunatics at the best of times, unilaterally attacks an Iranian gas field. Unsurprisingly, Iran are a little pissed at this. So they attack the nearest gas field that has an effect on their enemy. Which happens to be in Qatar.

Manbaby now states that the US knew nothing about the Israeli attack. So, rather than doing the sane thing, and telling the total nutjob heading up the Israeli regime to pull his fucking horns in and stop going off script, he goes for a different plan. Telling Iran he will blow up their gas field really REALLY biggly if they retaliate again to being attacked by Israel.

Fucking prick. Bomb Israel. Then shit might actually calm down a bit. Go on. The US has always been EXCELLENT at friendly fire accidents.

So if the US didn’t know Israel was going to attack the Iranian oil field, which confirms Israel give no fucks. Hopefully Israel take heed of Trump telling them not to do it again and it is the start of their excesses being reigned in.
