Didn't realise we hadn't started one of these yet.

Injured: Sa, Sarabia, Traore
Suspended: Joao Gomes
One yellow away from suspension: Toti, Ait-Nouri, Lemina

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna revealed on Thursday that his squad has been affected by illness this week.

Kalvin Phillips and Ben Johnson are still "managing knocks", while Axel Tuanzebe, George Hirst and Chiedozie Ogbene are all sidelined.

Key GON pre-match comments:

On Traore getting closer

“Everyone has come through fine this week. Jose Sa still won't make it, Pablo won't quite make it, and obviously the longer term ones Bouba and Yerson won't make the game. But apart from that, everyone's fine. Everyone's trained, they'll be checked after training, and hopefully there's no issues from today's session.

“We're hoping for him [Traore] to be back around it at the end of the month. Depending on how the next few weeks go, that could mean just back in training, or it could mean, if he's able to accelerate it, maybe we'll be able to get him in some squads, but he's still got a little bit to go.

“It is getting closer, and you can see the excitement in his face when you bump into him around the place. He's doing a lot of hard work to get himself back in shape and he's one that we're really looking forward to welcoming back into the into the group, because he can definitely add something.”

On the set piece work

“We're working very, very hard on them. A lot of work on them again this week. Really disappointed with the West Ham one, because we found a way to be much more solid in the game. We'd managed to quieten the crowd, and we were coming into a stage of the game where we could really try and attack it from that moment, and we gave West Ham a real soft one.

“To give goals away like that makes such a big difference to the feel of the performance and everything that goes with it. The lads have worked very hard in meetings and on the training pitch, and I’m confident the work we're doing will definitely help turn the defensive set pieces around.”

Semedo - Bueno - Toti - RAN

................ Andre - Lemina

.........Forbs - Cunha - Rodrigo

Leta get some pace on the wings for a change and have a go at their full-backs, who I don't think are particularly good defensively.

This is our first visit of the season to Molineux and for some weird reason I'm looking forward to it. Think I'm just resigned to being in the Championship next season and getting my head ready for that.
My one concern is if (when) it goes badly, the atmosphere is so toxic the fans turn on one another, seen that before and it ain't pretty.

Meh,
1-3 Ipswich, we play ok, crowd tuts and boos a bit, excuses are made post match about how we should do better, then onto the next one.

It’s depressing. My kids have really stopped enjoying going and as it’s a long journey every game, wiping out the day, it’s hard not to sympathise. Good job for GON we’re running late as he’d just get immediate grief from children if we were at the ground early today. As has been already said, not even the hope of a defeat prompting action, and I just can’t think of any reason why we won’t be losing pretty comfortably today. In every way shape and form we are a complete disgrace. Envying the Ipswich fans on the road with me, they’re going to have a great day out.

I’m sort of hoping that the players now realise they’re stuck with Gaz regardless, so whilst some of them may not have been at the top of their game recently, their professional edge kicks in and they go out there and play with some pride and start getting some points on the board to get us out of this. No one wants a relegation on their CV.

As I’ve said multiple times before, if we stay up it will be in spite of Gaz, not because of him.

Hopefully those inside the ground today give Jeff & Fosun constant abuse, even if we’re winning.
