To quote the BBC Football site:

Shakespeare - a former West Brom player - is the seventh manager in the past five years to leave his job in the aftermath of a match with the Baggies:

Mick McCarthy was sacked as Wolves manager in 2012 after losing 5-1 at home to the Baggies.
Andre Villas-Boas suffered the same fate at Chelsea after a 1-0 defeat at The Hawthorns in March 2012 and, eight months later, his successor Roberto di Matteo departed after a 2-1 defeat at the same ground in his final league match (his final game in charge was against Juventus in the Champions League).
Roberto Mancini was sacked by Manchester City despite having just beaten West Brom 1-0 in May 2013.
Paolo di Canio lost his job at Sunderland after losing 3-0 to the Baggies in September 2013.
Chris Hughton was sacked by Norwich after losing 1-0 to WBA in April 2014.
And Sir Alex Ferguson's final match in charge of Manchester United before retiring was also against the Baggies - a 5-5 draw in May 2013.

Is there a pattern emerging? :D

Anybody else starting to feel a bit twitchy when a Premier league manager gets the bullet?

No, he's got no PL or Championship experience remember...

On a serious note he's going nowhere, he wouldn't have left Porto otherwise and he's not going to want to leave a job half finished.

He also knows we have massive potential, rich owners, big crowds and Jorge Mendes.

Not really no. If it was the Arsenal job, then maybe, but not a run of the mill lower reach club. We have a project here and Nuno is completely into it.

Probably the only factor that really matters when it comes to Nuno's, and half the squad's, future.

I think BFS is more likely as he's suddenly found every media outlet to talk to.

I'd say Fosun's money is more important.
Not so sure myself, plenty of other rich owners about who's lofty ambitions fall short early doors without the sort of support Mendes offers. Would Wolves have any of their Portuguese contingent without the Mendes connection? Obviously having the Fosun chequebook plays it's part but you wouldn't tempt many Champions League players to the Championship with money alone.

Without Mendes we'd be like Villa, paying too much for above average championship players.

A quiet word in the ear from 'Uncle Jorge' will make or break anyone's career - they go where he asks and all get a fair bit out of it

Anyone would think that he was 'The Godfather'

Strangely enough, my son-in-law is a Leicester fan and I texted him to say "hands off" as far as Nuno is concerned (jokingly) and he said he'd love to have him based on what he's doing at Wolves. Then he sent me a Paddy Power screenshot showing Sam Allardyce as 2/1 favourite for the job. I texted him back with a 'head in hands' emoji. :D

Yes I have mentioned before, its the Conti thing that scares me most though. Saying that Nuno wont leave yet :crossfingers:
