I’ve learned to read your ass-backward calendars, no worries

Tarmac Group split in 1999, with the construction element (Carillion) and the construction materials element (Tarmac) becoming seperate entities. Tarmac (now owned by CRH plc) operates as the UK's leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business, with a national network of more than 350 sites across the UK. It is a significant UK employer with around 7,000 people and provides materials for a range of construction projects, including roads, bridges, and housing developments.
Thx for that. Hadn't realised that Tarmac is still around.

They have a role for a data engineer too that reports to the head of data. I presume that's in house data analysis over recruitment, given how we have scouted so far.

What? He hasn't gone back for that other over promoted waster, Hobbs? He whose claim to fame is Alfie Pond. It wasn't Max Kilman as that was Joe Monks, who is now Hartlepool's head of football operations, but back then was head of academy recruitment at Wolves.
And, it wasn't the Brazilians because local agents pushed them at Europe and they are well versed in that. He might have flown out out to shake hands but no way he would have been capable of dealing with experienced top club agents in Brazil with their fun and games! Mendes probably enabled that, especially with languages.
I guess we will hire someone yet again from the lower leagues then. ;-((

You tell pub and restaurant owners people that run small food outlets around the ground that it's a technical term. Most of these businesses will lose thousands upon thousands every home game.
Bankruptcy is just a technical term.

Relegation is about as big a reality check as you can get bit like being married and one of you losing your job. Cut backs and quality of life drastically changes.
Being relegated in utterly humiliating circumstances is cooking the fanbase too.
Basically killing there ambition and hunger for the game.
I don’t enjoy watching any football anymore because it’s constantly a reminder of how terrible we’re. I don’t want to relive this experience so going back to the PL is something I wouldn’t look forward too. So there’s nothing to excited about.
In all seriousness there’s no way even Jeff himself believes what he said and is just talking in riddles.

“Don’t be sad, mate. Up the Wolve”

“Relegation is just a technical term, inside the club it’s not that serious”

“I think it was a good window” followed up a couple of months later with “I’m not an expert but maybe we sold too many players”.

“If you only want trophies or to win things, maybe Wolves isn’t the club for you”

Those are just some quotes off the top of my head. There are likely dozens more.

When you have no one above you telling you to keep your fucking mouth shut, this is what happens. He needs firing into the sun to never be seen again. Unfathomable prick who somehow (and I say this whilst shaking my head in disbelief) keeps finding a way to make things worse. Absolute PR disaster twat.

Why can’t Fosun let Jeff go and manage/head up the esports division in China? That’s obviously where his passion lies and they believe there’s money in it - so let him go do that. Then employ someone at Wolverhampton Wanderers with a background in football in Jeff’s position. Everyone wins. Is that too simple?!

Another 6 figure wage they’ll have to shell out yearly probably stops them.

Because as far as Fosun are concerned, he's doing a good job.

Shi doesnt understand football.
Fosun dont really care about football, its just another of their businesses.
