General Wolves News

FFS are they run by Jeremy Corbyn and friends.

Is this the same group that rolled over very quickly at the season ticket price hike?

Self important, useless nonsense.

Indeed. Protest can't be an ego trip. What do you want, how can that be delivered, and most importantly, why is in the interests of those in power to deliver it.

Because unless we're rolling guillotines up to the Billy Wright we need Fosun to either voluntarily step down, or voluntarily run the club in a different way. The dopamine trip of letters or protests won't deliver either of those.

Sigh. Might just send these out this year so I can stop looking at them when I open the box of cards n crap

Its also why I feel Fosun wont sell us. I get people dont like it but Wolves Esports have won between £10m-£15m in prize money from what I can see, which even given the cynical format of rebranding other teams is still decent (its also what a lot of other major early teams did)

They are still going ahead with the stadium from what I can tell and the real money is in overall branding and content creation. The issue is from what I would speculate it's always going to be a China only interest, due to the types of games they seem to focus on.

If I was buying a team, I'd not be allowing some other entity to be using the branding, colours or anything else associated with it.

So depends on if they are happy having a total rebrand. Wolf Esports but with different logo design and colour scheme.

It's going to present a problem to Wolves as a football club at some point, definitely.

If they care more about the logo for e-sports branding than the football club itself then that is exactly what they will do. If the branding is split any prospective buyer of the TEAM has no rights over the logo at all. They wouldn't have a say in allowing it or otherwise. It might reduce the price of the football team, but that is not a concern really.

They can have it and we'll have the city crest back.

It's only been our badge since 2002, it's not exactly heritage stuff.

Plus if they do one, we might stop having yellow kits.

At this point I'd accept a green kit with purple shorts if they'd fuck off and sell us to someone with an ounce of ambition
