General Wolves News

Well he just shouldn't have picked Palmer really. Lemina shouldn't be in the team of the year when there are players like Douglas Luiz, John McGinn, Ødegaard, Szoboszlai, Rodri, Maddison, etc missing out.
Seems a smidge harsh, I have a lot of time for Luiz and McGinn but not sure I'd take them before Mario.

Fair enough on Rodri, the other three are a bit apples/oranges for me but such is the nature of Best XIs.

German press reporting that Grasshoppers are being bought by LAFC

I’m sure there were rumours of that group wanting to buy a PL club but I maybe misremembering.

Will Ferrell as owner for the bantz.

Wúnderbar...
Genau. Actually I think in terms of long term planning that Los Angeles, Bayern and Grasshoppers would all benefit from being linked to a solid and world famous Premier League Club like Wolves. Not only that but the good citizens of Bavaria, Zurich and California could learn about the attractions of Wolverhampton and be enticed to visit in their droves.... ;-)

Wouldn't the line be that all those sales were done after May?
It is, but the PL seem to be sympathetic to clubs acknowledging they have an issue and fixing it early in the next year. At least that's what Forest are claiming re being able to include the Johnson sale in the 22/23 period even though it sits a couple of months outside it. Our perceived issue was supposed to be the 3 year period ending 24, not 23, this is the first time anyone's claimed we have an issue for the earlier period.

Our combined losses in the accounts for the 20/21 and 21/22 seasons is £26.7m.

So for the 3 year cycle ending 22/23 we can't post a loss of more than £78.3m. We spent a lot that summer (£97m net spend in total fees before amortisation) so I don't know how close we'd be.
