Your probably looking at I don't know £60m for a moderate rebuild of the SB with an extra 4-5k seats maybe. That would mean those additional say 5k seats each year would need to pay £6m/annum. Each individual seat would need to pay £1200/ annum or based on 20 home matches generate £60 income per match.

The above is of course excluding any finance costs which would have to be factored into it which would push these figures up.

With the above rough maths you can see why there's not much hunger to update the ground

The 10 year basis belies Fosuns investment thinking to Wolves as an investment.

Looking at the W. W. (1990) Limited accounts as at 31 May 2020, the company has a retained loss of just over £130 million. In 2019, Wolves reported a retained loss of just over £90 million.

It was also interesting to note the Wolves owed £46 million in transfer fees & were owed £17 million in transfer fees.

I understand that basically a company cannot pay a dividend whilst it has a retained loss. So it looks as though it will be a long timme unitl Fosun can get any dividends from Wolves. It could explain why there is an attempt to funnel "brand revenue", whether real or imaginary, into other companies.

The club supports itself. It did in the first place and then they "needed" to rake up prices. No they didn't. It's "someone will pay it so let's do it". Which is fine until the hypothetical "someone" doesn't pay it.

Even in May 2019, Wolves had an accumulated loss of £90 million. Yes, that £90 million is a paper loss but believed enough by The Inland Revenue that Wolves didn't need to pay any tax after declaring a £19 million profit.

At 31 May 2020, Wolves liabilities were £45 million more than their assets and only seem solvent because of the £78 million equity investment.

According to the cash flow statements in the accounts, the actual cash, Wolves were lent £56 million by Foson Group companies and spent £80 million on players.
In 2020, Wolves borrowed £25 million and spent £118 million on players.

The only real debt is about £116m loaned by Fosun. They paid £30m for us, so conservatively have doubled their investment. They could sell us for your hypothetical £250m tomorrow if they wanted to

I'm not saying sack him. I'm saying let him head up a team of people that focus on esports - which he is effectively doing at the moment - 200 people! - and employ someone else to take control of the running of a Premier League football club. Someone with a football background who understands that leaving a PL squad to go in to a season with three fit central midfielders does not constitute a "good window".
