Apparently there’s a delay with with new smart cards and some people will receive paper tickets for the Spurs and Man Utd games.

Must just be brand new ticket holders because my new smart card arrived on Friday and they emailed me earlier to say "make sure you bring the right one on Sunday, you div" (saves my mates all sending me the same message on Saturday night)

I paid for and ordered a new season ticket card over 2 weeks back and still not had it yet. Hopefully it comes in the next couple of days. They're a nightmare to get through to on the phone.

The phones is a big issue because as much as I (and I suspect most of us) try to do everything online as far as possible, sometimes you just can't.

Couple that with them only physically being open one day in the week (Wednesday I think) plus Saturdays and it causes issues.

The thing is when you can actually get through to someone they're pretty good and helpful but seems like they need a fair few more staff.

They were pretty speedy when I emailed Wolves Help and the ticket office at the same time - whichever one of them sorted it out, they did. Although tbf that was probably a template response in the end (it was the issue of them renewing my ticket by DD before the deadline had even passed, even though I didn't want to do that again and my intention if I renewed was always to pay up front, I just didn't make my mind up until the last minute).

My email today says the cards have gone out and they should arrive by Thursday.

Also replacement cards have been knocked down from £10 to £2.50 for now as no-one has used one in nearly 18 months and things do tend to go astray. Judah will be issuing a tweet to praise Vinny any minute now.

Got an email saying our (new) season tickets won’t be with us until the Brentford game - actual paper tickets being sent for the first two games.

Anybody know if there’s any special measures in place for Sunday ie vaccination checks etc or is it just the usual have your have arsed search done then enter?

I haven't anything about any special measures, mind you I've got the NHS app on my phone so not really bothered, if they want it I've got it.

There will be some random checks. Essentially they don't need to check anyones vaccination/testing history but the PL are expecting the Governement to introduce it from the 1st October so they are working with the clubs to get things set up over the next month. So you may get asked, you may not.

Card won't be accepted. Has to be the App/Print out of the Vacc cert from the App/letter from your GP

Apparently the card isn't sufficient, I've just added my COVID pass to my Apple Wallet form the NHS app.
