General Wolves News

Looks much more physically suited to men’s football than Fabio.

Cavallini looks like the answer to Wolves' goalscoring issues. Sign him up, ready made song for him as well

TBF I've watched him for U23s occasionally, but even a cursory glance makes the difference in physicality obvious.

Yep, he’s got pace and the physicality to play now. I’m surprised Nuno hasn’t given him 10 minutes or so instead of Jose or Adama/ Neto.

There is about 2 months between TC and FS.

I do have high hopes for TC. A loan out to get some proper experience next season will do him the world of good.

It's ridiculous to compare TC playing well in the u23s with FS playing in the PL. MGW looks like a world beater whenever he's played in the u23s over the last few years

I don't think this is true and it's a bit naïve in thinking. There's no way a young player bought for nothing in the academy plays instead of the clubs record signing.

Nuno would lose face asking for future money for young players and find it more difficult to recruit.

Silva also looked a world beater at youth level and had a whole 182 first team minutes mainly at the end of games in a weaker league than the PL.

It is possible that Corbeanu is a better athlete and ready for first team football than Silva. A loan out may do him some good, but then the same can be said for Silva who isn't as ready as TC imo.

Players get compared all the time, it's what scouts do for a living, so the argument isn't reductive at all.

It's reductive when the whole point of the comment is to get another dig in

Corbeanu scored on his International debut and his one comment was comparing him to Fabio to go with the countless others ones along the lines of, it's like playing with 10 men or he'd take Bonatini over him. I'm pretty comfortable with my perception

I keep saying it. Corbeanu is playing well (without completely ripping it up) at the same level that Benny Ashley-Seal did. And he just scored against Bermuda so let's hold back a bit here.

I have my hopes for him but he isn't even close to being a viable option at Premier League level, even as a sub. Also we rarely if ever just chuck attacking players on for 10 minutes at the end.

Didn't mean it as a dig, but whatever.

He just looks much more physically suited to playing adult football now.

We've chucked a kid in for most of the season who clearly isn't ready and has a whole 182 minutes of first team experience behind him.

If he hasn't cost £30m+ he wouldn't be anywhere near the first team.
