No it wasn't

Would another City option be the huge space where the retail outlet was meant to go? That was from the Manders, upto the current Market and all the way to the Ring Road (where the Way is). That end if town is essentially derelict now.

Build there. Use Molineux as the U23 Stadium / Other Sporting events / concerts

That's a good idea. Car parks are already sorted, no chance of new shopping developments and the area is already pedestrianised in some places.

Make it happen Kenny.

I will submit my plans for the Kevin Thelwell 3-5-2 Stadium later

The Kenny Stand in the Kevvy T Stadium.

I'm sure there's an appropriate spewing up gif somewhere on the interweb.

Ok,my mates wife who works at asda Wolves, was told that's was what going to happen, and was asked which store she'd prefer to work at,but what do people who work there know? unless you're a high up in either sainsburys or Asda I'll believe what my mates wife said thanks

She's speaking rubbish. They didn't know how many stores they would need to close to get it through the CMA, so there is no chance that information would have been given to managers let alone consulting staff. At best she had a whataboutery conversation

Sorry but I'm inclined to agree with TT.

I'm working for Sainsbury's during the last year of my studies and we had regular updates during the CMA process but they were pretty vague "the CMA are investigating X" "the CMA's initial findings are Y" "we find these feelings Z"

There was nothing at all store specific at any point.

If it did go ahead I'd not be surprised at all if Asda Wolves closed (worked there too and have said on here before why they'd consider relocation) but your friend is way off.

In Derby we've got four Sainsbury's supermarkets and two Asdas so there would definitely be closures here but again nothing at all mooted.

It also wouldn't have been as simple as store x is close to store y so we are going to close one. In Derby for instance I doubt if Sainsbury's at Osmaston or Asda at Sinfin would have been closed despite them being down the road from each other. Much more likely Sainsbury at Kingsway and the Argos on the other side of the retail park. What would have been taken into account was shopper demographic. The Asda customer by and large isn't the Sainsbury one closures would have been based on whether the customer had a suitable alternative within their area that wouldn't necessarily mean an Asda or Sainsburys. Closures would have been about market share, not about location

New away kit. Although our new multi million pound signings are very short

There is some mental stuff on this tour. The players are currently on the roof of a building watching a fashion show. I have just seen someone parading around in what can only be described as a Wolves 1990's tribute housecoat

I think Twitter has needed this fucking batshit mental Shanghai fashion extravaganza.

It's genuinely amazing.

Judah's timeline is something else. The Tsingtao Wolves beer would be cool to have though.

Its in China, so it probably does.

Would need Machin on the tasting notes though...

Someone posted a photo of a weird cat thing in a Wolves shirt - "Chinese Wolfie" - with the real Wolfie stood on the sidelines looking thoroughly pissed off. Made me laugh more than it should.
