General Wolves News

No instantly forgettable 90s indie bands referenced either, good read though

That is a terrible article :icon_lol:

It's like several piss weak articles badly pasted together.

Wolves the most hated team in Portugal according to the Birmingham Mail who printed this particular gem:

"Nuno Espirito Santo has so many of his compatriots playing for him that he often communicates with his team in Portuguese."

I thought Nuno insisted on English?

What a load of absolute bullshit... E&S lite!

Wolves are the most hated club in Portugal... The journalists and other fans love them :taunt:

Yes it's Twitter but somebody has posted that the white away shirt is smaller size then his home one of the same size. Anybody clarify any truth in this.

I will tomorrow, going to pick one up if there's any left.

Im confident enough to go against the rest. No problem.

Although, its just not true. Most people, who know about Wolves, are indifferent. Some will appreciate its history and respect, others just won't.

Then there are the Sporting fans who are a bunch of bitter, whiny, spoiled, moronic buffoons.

Love the last ones.

My experience of walking around Lisbon wearing a Wolves shirt was overwhelming positive. So many people stopped me to talk about Wolves, didn't get any hate at all.

Same here. All of them basically supported us because we had signed Neves

In Lisbon? That's surprising.

As for a general warm welcome, that's usual. I've been wearing mine everytime I go workout but have yet to receive any praise :p

Wore it a lot in Madeira last year too.

I'm actually a bit weary of wearing my Benfica shirt, so I'll go out with the Wolves kit. :) There are too many crazy people around.

I'll find out if thats changed in a few weeks, I have Neves on my shirt

.

They might have taken over by Eurovision fever at the time...

All the restuarant and bar staff seemed to be Porto fans and they now supported us because of Neves. Couple of Benfica fans seemed to like Nuno! (probably because he didn't win the League with Porto)

Sitting here in Italy it makes me appreciate how friendly the Portuguese are, especially compared to these rude arrogant twats.

Fair enough. Although, should any Benfica fans say crap about Neves you can always just chant the Cavaleiro or Helder Costa songs.

No problem at all. :D

From my experience of dealing with the tourism sector, most people are only rude when really tired or the other people are rude beforehand, and even then people will try to be nice.

I'll take your statement as a compliment :p

No, I don't think there's any difference. Some small design differences like no trim on the away shirt sleeves, but size seems to be the same for both.
