From where we started we've done really well, but it wouldn't have much (probably one decent forward signing in Jan) to given us a real chance of something good happening.

Having Cunha back will be massive. He's more important to the way we play overall than Neto, who is just a counter at speed machine. We've gone large spells of this season without Neto and been ok. Same with Hwang.

No, it's his other leg. I think it's a big blow for him and our transfer ambitions for the Summer. We've decided we need to sell someone, so you are left with Cunha, which won't do much given the amount of money we still have outstanding on him, Gomes probably a season too early from a maximising his value perspective or RAN some of which will need to go to Angers

At the end of the day it's not as if we need to sell a player to keep our heads above water. Fair enough if a big club comes in for someone we won't say no, but we aren't in a 'sell to survive' situation.

Bit of money for Silva, sell Hwang and then buy a striker. If he wants to transition to 4atb then sell Kilman and do it that way. We did the donkey work in the summer and we've made it work from a squad point of view so we're not under any pressure to sell, and we don't need a squad overhaul to survive. It's not especially interesting or exciting, but that's where we are and where Fosun wants us
