General Wolves News

We had to report everything up to 30 June 2023 by 31 December 2023

Everything after that doesn't count, which is why Forest trying to count selling Brennan Johnson on 1 September 2023 is bollocks

FWIW we sold Neves on 23 June 2023

Remember SSN proudly announcing our FFP issues were all sorted after his sale.

Little did they know we were planning to make the next year in the cycle a profitable one and they, along with everyone else just extended the FFP line and ignored what was previously mentioned.

But the above also shows why so many don't get it properly (me Inc most of the times) as the media have no clue. So for the majority what we did in the summer was to cover ourselves ahead of what is about to announced rather than also taking an extreme actions to help cover what will happen in January 25.

I understand you don't get it. Just admit it and move on or ask how it works but doubling down on something isn't a good look.
I just find it amazing you post about our FFP situation with such certainty yet a lot of other informed people seem to think it is rather less clear.

So you're complaining about me being right?

The media don't have a clue because researchers and producers don't understand it.

I really hate the new narrative that's around now. "We can afford to lose this much money so let's do it before that runs out" like it's a council budget. No, losing money is bad and signing shit players is a bad idea.

I can afford to spend whatever Miller & Carter will overcharge me for a mediocre steak in a cold restaurant if I really want to. It wouldn't be very wise though.

And therefore the majority of fans won't and then it becomes do I believe this journalist or this angry man on the Internet....angry man only wins if its to do with saying something racist.

Just to clarify angry man here, for once, doesn't = you.

I think that's down to who you believe.

Actual football finance people are clearly best, such as Swiss Ramble and Keiran Maguire, in the absence of that then Google is a decent place to start.

Places not to start are The S*n and Sky Sports News.

A lot of people on the Internet can't even use Google to find out what time the local Tesco is open so have to ask on Facebook, so no chance they are scouring for an indepth look into the PL's FFP. if Liam, PTS, Percy etc say it...that's good enough.

...or local journalists involved in a back scratching system with the club

I don't think Liam is too bad with it. Spiers was so bad on it, he made me write a massive long article about how it was bullshit.

Jeff outright lying about it as he has done more than once is weird. In what normal world does the nominal head of a company say in public that they're in the shit and we've managed the finances horribly!
