And for some reason we appear to have forgotten our history, as the well-known Los Angeles Wolves USA championship victory in 1967 is claimed to be "the last time Wolves played in the USA".

We also played in the NASL in 1969 as the Kansas City Spurs as well, so not only has the fact we played in that tournament been seemingly lost, but the fact that we actually won the thing just makes that one incredibly poor.
