Never thought I would see the day where I was grateful for some Tim Spiers Wolves content, but after the new bloke for The Athletic decided to piss off on holiday during the business end of a transfer window and the start of a new season; having just been given the gig of covering Wolves - here we are.

He actually goes in on Fosun a bit too, which was refreshing.

Wolves are playing good football but it won't click until they have a genuine forward in the team. It's an oversight that needs rectifying

He *can* have a go at Fosun/the club now if he wants, he doesn't personally have to keep them sweet any more.

"A striker" isn't going to solve everything, that's far too rose-tinted an assessment of our opening two games. We didn't deserve to win either.

Someone should tell Spiers that recruitment is difficult and to have some patience. Does he know you can't just wave a magic wand, clubs often don't get their number one targets? There are over 2 weeks of the window left, he should judge Fosun, Jeff and Scott then.

In a 4 he's probably behind not only Kilman and Collins but Boly and Gomes as well.

He's not going to play much regardless of the formation I don't think. Might get a game vs Preston if they use Gomes at left back.

My lad just messaged me to say he'd got our tickets for the City game. We're just 'ordinary' members so shouldn't be able to get them till tomorrow but he went on the site and they allowed him to get them today. Worth trying today if you're a member and not a member+ or whatever its called.
