General Wolves News

I like Sa, think he's a big part of the reason for our defensive stability (for mostbof the season) this season but I think you're being kind to him there... running around like a headless chicken
I don’t disagree. But only for the final bits of the second goal. And even then he’s forced The first time shot which hits the post, he’s saved the rebound and then just needs his defender to clear it. He otherwise had a good game for me

Tbf, my original comment about his worst game of the season was tongue in cheek really, about him being called up after initially being left out, let's face it a few players had really poor moments, all started by the muppet in black

UEFA set to scrap FFP and limit clubs spending to no more than 70% of their income.

Might help us a bit with the low wage structure, but the big clubs will still have an advantage.

Could have been much worse but the recruiting team needs to be held accountable for the fact that we're now down to three midfielders (and that's including Cundle).

Obviously you can't legislate for injuries but this is a rough spot for us to be put in with very little ability to react appropriately.

I was fearing it would be worse for Ruben so I’ll take that.

Hopefully he’ll still be here when next season starts 🤞🤞🤞

You can, and we should have.

We didn't have adequate back up for Raul, and we don't have adequate back up for Neves

(and when i say adequate, i don't mean having someone of similar quality, it just needs to be someone of similar experience, Silva and Cundle were and are way off that.)

Terrible.

He won't even play Cundle. It'll be Dendoncker for the rest of the season. Then when we lose we'll get his garbled nonsense about how actually we played really well.

Surely there will be occasions where Lage will want to play 352 rather than 343? There have been many already this season?

I’d expect him to play before the end of the season for sure, so not worried about it potentially being his last game.

Depends how much he rates Cundle. If he thinks the team would be better in a 3-4-3 with “better players” then no. If he thinks Cundle can come in and do the same job then he might.

I remember someone saying we didn’t need another midfielder in January as we could play Saiss there. On the bright side it would move his mistakes further away from goal.
