Erm...you realise this would give us a whole three points more after 18 games than we had in 2011/12?

Would also mean we'd be on a 10 game winless run in which case we'd probably be very close to sacking the manager.

At least we would know who to blame if it did happen!!

I'll go with 8 more points as well. 10+ would be brilliant though. I think we can definitely give Chelsea a proper test at home too. Maybe even be the team to end their unbeaten run.

Are Newcastle fans still planning to boycott the game? That could only work in our favour surely.

Excellent, so you believe that come Boxing Day Nuno will be teetering on the brink, in fact lose the two games in London over Christmas and he'd probably be gone.

You're welcome to hold that opinion but I don't think it will happen.

Optimist in me says 12 points, realistically I would say 8 which I’d still be happy with.

13 points. Think big, people.

I don't think nuno would be on the brink even with a losing streak.

There's no way with the ambition that this club has that anyone is getting away with 10 games without a win. No chance. He'd be under enormous pressure at the very least.

Going that long without a win is dreadful for anyone, let alone us with our squad and our expectations.

I just said you were welcome to hold that opinion.

However it does follow that if we do have that sequence of results, the man who some have touted for jobs at the likes of Real Madrid, Tottenham, Arsenal and Man Utd would suddenly be on the brink of being sacked by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It's outlandish at best, I'm surprised you'd expect it to go without comment. If I put us down to win every single game and be on the verge of a Champions League place then I think that would be dismissed as well.

Surprised so many have us down to lose both 'big' games against Liverpool and Chelsea. We've shown we can compete against these teams, we're desperately unlucky to only have 3 points from the fixtures versus Citeh, United, Spurs & Arsenal.
