Fulham (H) 3/11 Build-Up Thread #fridaynightlights

Just seen Sky advertising the game during the Villa match, with a photo of Dave Edwards. Some people just can't let go.

I'm expecting a big performance from us after Nuno's show of faith in the lads today.

Alf was out on his feet at the end on Tuesday. He got bollocked by Nuno at one point for not putting in enough effort, so I suspect Saiss will be in.

BBC fun fakt....
Slavisa Jokanovic has never lost back-to-back away league matches in charge of Fulham - he last did so in the Championship while Watford boss in January 2015

We went to a 3-5-2 late on in the Norwich match. I'm not saying we will do that or even that we should, but I do wonder if a midfield 3 of N'Diaye, Neves, and Saiss together wouldn't completely dominate Fulham.

Much as I love Nuno and the 3-4-3 we play it does sometimes leave room in central midfield that can be exploited, and I feel Fulham have the players who could exploit that.

I think 352 is the way to go against the Cardiff's and Prestons of the league. I might be wrong but I think our pressing like we did against villa will negate Fulham's passing abilities

David Coote is the ref for tonight.

Hearing #Wolves defender Willy Boly is still being troubled by the hamstring problem that sidelined him recently. May miss tonight's game.

Think this one will be tricky tonight Fulham better on the road than they are at home. Would be amazed if it’s goaless I agree the team doesn’t need much tweaking from Tuesday.

Fulham are a bit of a mess right now though. If we can get an early goal with the crowd rocking it could be a really good night. Let's hope so!

I'd expect

Ruddy

Batth
Coady
Miranda

Doherty
Neves
Saiss
Douglas

Cavaleiro
Bonatini
Jota

I think we might see a couple of changes, this could be a good game to bring Costa in for a bit of confidence:

Ruddy

Boly (Miranda if not fit)
Coady
Bennet

Doherty
Neves
N'Diaye
Vinagre

Costa
Bonatini
Jota

This is a blow.

Have to say I think it would be harsh to drop Bennett after playing at Citeh and Norwich

David Coote is the ref for tonight.

He's the one who sent off Ikeme at Norwich last season, also did our home game v Blackburn the 0-0 Lambert/Mowbray thriller.

Shows the Red card more than most.

In Newcastle for the weekend so am going to have to try and find somewhere showing the game later.

I really want Costa to pick up some form, but wouldn't mind if Cav or Bright play.
Douglas/Vinagre is a toss up.
Hause probably needs more fitness but I don't know how he's going to get that whilst not playing anywhere?
