I really want Costa to pick up some form, but wouldn't mind if Cav or Bright play.
Douglas/Vinagre is a toss up.
Hause probably needs more fitness but I don't know how he's going to get that whilst not playing anywhere?

This team for me but Saiss swapped for Ndiaye

Hearing #Wolves defender Willy Boly is still being troubled by the hamstring problem that sidelined him recently. May miss tonight's game.

Nuno said in his interview to WolvesTV that everyone was recovered and available.

I find it astonishing how willing people are to drop good performers. Bennett was excellent against Norwich, he should keep his place, else what keeps him motivated and others motivated to come in and do well? It's be poor man management to drop Bennett.

Interesting that a player who has really shortened up in the First Goalscorer market for tonight is Conor Ronan. Could we be in for a surprise? #HeardItHereFirst

I don't always agree with that mindset - if you have an obviously better player available then pick him, don't wait for the inferior alternative to mess up, possibly cost you points and then get rid - but in this case I'd play Bennett.

In general I tend to agree, that when a player comes in and does well he should keep his place, however there are instances when players need resting, the game is much faster than it used to be and games come thick and fast.
The modern player needs to accept that it is a squad based game these days. Players need to be kept fresh and ready to play when called upon.
That's basically what Nuno was saying in his interview I think.
It's brilliant, we've got a strong team and a strong bench.

Fulham's appeal against Kamara's red card has been successful. I don't actually know if he's any good.

When it's a borderline call on quality - so Bennett/Batth, N'Diaye/Saiss - I would agree that you reward the player who's stepped in and done well. The other guy will just have to wait.

However you can't use that as a blanket policy, Neves is one yellow away from a ban at the moment, let's say he got booked tonight and we ended up playing Jack Price at Reading. Then he did well there, in the way that Jack Price normally does, and we won. Who's going to advocate that he keep his place ahead of Ruben for the Leeds game?

One of the biggest failings of every post-Saunders manager* we had before Nuno was failing to recognise when Dave Edwards' "form" (such as it was) had run out and he was offering nothing. It's not a quantifiable thing a lot of the time and therefore your default position should always be to pick your best players.

*People talk about Mick "loving" Edwards but he didn't actually start him that much at all. He was always a bit part player.

Batth & Bennett bring similar performances to the team so not fussed which is chosen (if either as Miranda will come into the frame)

Saiss & N'Daiye do bring slightly differing qualities, but Nuno has earn't my respect so happy to go with who he sees as being the right choice for his game plan v Fulham.

Would like to see Ronan there somewhere (even if only on the bench instead of Marshall)

I'd rather play Saiss instead of N'Diaye, Saiss is simply a better player. And I've not really forgiven N'Diaye for sheff utd away where he was a bit off the pace tbh.

I'm contemplating getting a day pass to watch this one on sky. 6.99 for 24 hours is a bit steep though

Prolly cheaper ones on ebay and they just send you the code.
(EDIT...theres one on now for £2.49)

Anyways, perhaps i dont keep up but ive read today that one of the reasons Kmac left was due to liking a bit of a "flutter".
Can honeslty say i never heard that at the time.

If you don't want to go via the Ebay route then a weeks pass at £10.99 is better value

Some 'interesting' Premier games this weekend
