Semedo has touched the ball. Im sorry some shit chatted last few minutes.

Shit from Lemina (Gomes didn't help him either, shit movement) , absolutely braindead by Semedo to try and take and keep possession in one movement. Just tackle properly ffs. We've been wank since the equaliser

He’s got to take Gomes off and bring Doyle on, surely? Try and take control of midfield?

The worst thing about this is, we are clearly a much better side than these.

The lack of early booking for Ream and Robinson, Losing RAN and replacing him with Doc, and then that fucking stupid challenge, it's not our night is it.

It's funny isn't it, we've been conditioned by these absolutely awful decisions to criticise the player making them, rather than the ref for giving a penalty for what clearly ISN'T a penalty, he got the ball, he clearly got the ball. Yet it's still given as a penalty, explain, how if you get the ball and the challenge isn't reckless (it wasn't) that it is a penalty?

You know it’s a shit game when you think it’s nearly finished but there’s still 25 left 🤣

I mean, Fulham are shocking but we’re just as bad tonight. But confused on our set up and plan.

I feel we still have motivational issues (going back several years now). Up for the so called big clubs but severely lacking when it comes to teams on our level or below.

We’re stupidly open when we chase a game but I guess that’s better than dying with a whimper.

Our marking is abysmal most of the time... utterly dreadful. Arsenal will have a field day.

It’s probably down to the ‘clear and obvious’ line as in real time you can see why it’s given. It’s clumsy as fuck and a slight touch on the ball.

That’s just a guess Ofcourse, but I hardly think it’s a disgrace if a decision

He may have just got a touch on the ball, but he certainly didn't win it, and certainly fouled the player afterwards.

Bad night for O’Neil this for me, weird subs and set up. We’re getting actively worse as well and Fulham well on top
Agreed. He’s stuck Sasa on but hasn’t tweaked the system to play to his strengths. He could easily take Semedo off for Doyle and switch to a back 4, get the extra man in midfield. Or just switch him for Gomes if you want to keep the back 5, as he’s on a booking and been fairly anonymous tonight anyway.

20 minutes to go.

Imagine how well we'd be doing if instead of these bullshit calls we'd been getting, we'd instead be getting favourable calls

We’re a very poor team without Neto and Ait-Nouri to get us up the pitch

I might need another look, but my take was he might have grazed the ball but it didn't change its path, the bloke was basically still in control of it when the contact was made. If he'd have tackled him properly or cleared it with his left then the ref has no question to answer

I'm sure I remember something like this years ago and there was something about not significantly affecting the path of the ball. Like if he doesn't make contact with Cairney he's not dispossessed him has he? The bloke just carries on running toward goal without the contact, so in that context the marginal touch on the ball is sort of irrelevant.

It was a stupid challenge though, the old 'dont give them a decision to make' adage still has merit, players need to make better decisions. Dangling a limp leg out in your own box when you're already falling over isn't the wisest decision is it? Saw the opposite to some extent with Fabio the other week when he pulled out of the first challenge to avoid clattering a bloke who might beat him to the ball but then it got scrappy, panic set in and he did the same thing anyway two touches later.
