How about someone like Albert Ferrer? Not sure where he played in Spain.

Ferrer did play for Barcelona, but left in 1998 and never played again after leaving Chelsea.

Assulin didn't, no. Not in the league at any rate.
 
I'd be amazed if anyone got all the remaining six (a couple are extremely obscure) without cheating or me giving out some clues. I'll leave it until the morning and we'll see then.

No takers? One of them's a Champions League winner, two of them are still playing in England (though not in the Premier League).
 
Has Rochina been mentioned the Blackburn player ? Another guess Martin Petrov.

No, but he never played for Barca's first team, so he's not one of them.

Couple of Spaniards at Blackpool can't remember names let alone previous clubs, then the striker Dave Jones signed last summer Rodri ?
 
Rodri hasn't played Premier League football.

One of them is indeed a Blackpool player.
