None of the remaining five are currently playing in England, although two did play in the Premier League last season.
 
Marc Overmars, no idea when he retired, only one I could think of. More than likely wrong though.
 
Never played for Bayern or indeed anywhere in Germany.
 
Yes to Tarnat.

No to Ziege, he left Bayern in 1997.
 
Of the other four:

Only one is German and he is also the only one who has since retired.
One never signed permanently for either Bayern or his Premier League club.
Those two players played for the same Premier League club though not at the same time.
One is a player you will all have seen and will all know.
The other one played for two English clubs, though the second was exclusively in the Championship.

Yep to all three!

The other one is a tough one. He's not an absolute nobody but he only played a handful of games for Bayern's first team, and his move to England was at best uneventful, six years here where he was never feted by either of his clubs.
 
I know who it is now after having a quick look, don't think anyone will get it.
 
I reckon I could post a picture of him and a lot of people wouldn't know who it is.
 
More than likely, i had no idea he'd played for Bayern probably as it was only those few times.
