Football Trivia questions

So, three full backs - one played for Tottenham, one played for Liverpool, the other played for Man City and Fulham.

The missing strikers both played for a club in the North West and have both represented their country at European Championships.

It's good but it's not right. Has played for Spurs, has played in Germany but not for BVB.

My other was Reto Ziegler but i thought you would've mentioned him playing for Wigan too.

Nah, not Ziegler. The Spurs lad isn't European.

Nope. And he's French, you massive racist.

Right, this is where Wikipedia falls on it's arse cos there's definitely one more. If you want a clue, he played in the world cup final.

p.s. sorry this is late, but I've been at work and I don't have one of them fangled smart phone things.

Ray Wilson, must be.

Yep. 63 caps and never scored for England despite what wikipedia's list says. (Though his wikipedia page is correct).

Edit* So between him Sansom and Ashley Cole that's 248 caps with one goal between them. Our left backs must all wear clown boots.

Disappointed in myself that I didn't get it, to be honest. I don't miss many!

Yup, Degen from our Scandinavian friend.

Two full backs and two strikers to go.

Was Klasnic on loan at Bolton to begin with? He used to play somewhere in Germany i think, not sure who the other forward could be from Bolton though if that does turn out right.

Struggling to think of any other former Tottenham fullbacks other than Carr and Tarrico, who it obviously isn't.

It's not Klasnic, he played for Bremen.

Like I say, one of the forwards is a German international who played in Euro 96. And indeed Euro 2004 (though I don't think he got on the pitch).

Michael Ball played for City and abroad, though not sure if that was Dortmund or even in Germany, cant remember him at Fulham either actually.

At least i'm on marginally better form than last night.

Not Fulham and not Germany, so actually worse form.

That one was a bit of a wildcard, City was the only banker and everything else was blind hope.

I'm really stumped for Spurs fullbacks between the times of Taricco/Carr and the lads they got now, other than the already discredited Atouba and Ziegler my mind is blank.

He's Asian, if that helps.
