FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 Russia

Ronaldo puts Portugal ahead early on vs Russia, far too easy.

Russia sitting back with the view to playing on the break but they can't even get into the Portugal half...Way too deep and just not good enough

Would help if they didn't keep passing the ball back to Portugal

Portugal won't have an easier half of football than that in some time. Russia approaching this as if they're Liechtenstein.

Russia have woken up in the last five minutes but too little, too late

Cracking lobbed finish by Anguissa, 1-0 Cameroon. Australia are so shit.

Daft challenge by the Cameroon RB, Milligan sticks the penalty away. 1-1.

Is Aboubakar supposed to be good? Because he doesn't look like it.

By rights Australia should have lost both their two games 5-0 or more. Somehow they've got away with a narrow defeat and a draw!

He's exceptional when he's on his game, looks awful when he's not.

He was shocking today.

Leno mercifully dropped by Germany, no way should he ever play again. Nothing like good enough and they have Ter Stegen (who starts later) and Trapp in this squad, let alone Neuer under normal circumstances.

He was shocking today.

He's definitely one that has all of the tools required to be a top player, but can't put them together consistently and often has an outright nightmare if he senses one thing starting to go wrong.

Sorry, I could go on about most of the Cameroon team for ages.

Yeah Aboubakar is a funny one isn't he. He was pretty handy in the Champions league last season (15/16 I mean)

Alexis puts Chile in front after five minutes, atrocious work by Mustafi.

Mustafi awful again. How did he ever get a good reputation?

You'd think he'd have improved after a year of playing alongside the greatest centre half in the world, Laurent Koscielny.

He's alright. But never been anything more than that. Better than say, Otamendi, but never worth what Arsenal paid for him, if Big Per can stay fit then he's still probably better despite being 84.

Lovely goal for Germany and it's all level

1-1 Stindl. Nice move.

Going forward he should be way ahead of Sandro Wagner in the pecking order, the big lug. Reminds me of a slightly better Maierhofer.

Good game at a high tempo. Not sure on the fuss over Draxler, doesn't look a patch on Sane. Sanchez is a real class act.
