Ex-Wolf Watch

Ryan Green has signed back up with Westfields after some time out. With him and Colin Larkin still going at very low non-league level, we still just about have active links to the 90s...

The Duck on target for Haiti against Qatar (?!) in the Gold Cup. He looks alright, as ever. I'd actually have preferred him up front to what we had last season...

He got 20 goals for CSKA Sofia in the last campaign, not bad. They're in the Europa Conference Qualifiers.

Stephen Ward aka Mick's love child in as DoF at Solihull Moors.

On the basis that we're only allowed - it seems - to sign players that cost somewhere between 5m and 12m.......sign him up !

Robbie Keane to Maccabi Tel Aviv as head coach.
Every man and his dog signing for Arab teams and Robbie heads to the Israeli league. The pull of managing your boyhood club...

EDIT: I've just seen the Manager thread and Kenny has already cracked this one!

Jamie Pardington to Cheltenham. It is odd, if you're so minded you can absolutely wing a career for at least a few years as a back up keeper if you want, so long as you don't care about playing, doesn't matter if realistically you're nothing like good enough. This is a lad who struggled to get games for our U21s and managed to play one game for Larne before being released.

If you were an outfield player who at the age of 23 had played two Football League games, 10 in non-league (all below Conference level) and one in Northern Ireland then your pro career would be over 99%+ of the time.

Not to say he won't find a club but as it stands Taylor Perry (a year younger with 50+ games for Cheltenham on his CV and even appeared briefly in the Europa League for Wolves) is a free agent.

Might be that Cheltenham plan to use Pards as a 'fake number 2'. Someone posted an article on here about it recently where clubs are stockpiling keepers with fewer than 50 league appearances because then they're eligible to parachute in an emergency number 1 in case of injury.

The poor fake number 2 never gets to play.
