Ex-Wolf Watch

Paul Edwards, apologies for the source picture but his hair was a truimph of geometry over taste
The last player Albion signed directly from us. I can't blame them for not returning to the scene of the crime.

Paskin was the last one we had off them and he was worse, somehow.

On the plus side Edwards could double up as a small table with his flat top. Must have come in handy

Vinagre confirmed on loan to Everton

Did Blades never score for us?
Remember seeing him score at Stoke in a 1-1 draw, was at the old Victoria ground.
Hard to believe but was a decent goal, coming in from right back played a 1-2 on the edge of the area and a tidy finish.

Absolutely love this, he was my first favourite player, some great goals there! Look at the pitch against Port Vale! That goal against Stoke which probably wouldn't have gone in if the goals were at the right height, and of course the goals against Man City and Everton are just world class.

Oh and the piss taking against Albion is sensational!

I thought the one with the dodgy pitch was away at Mansfield in the Cup. Great compilation though!

Just loved Robbie. From my favourite era where Dennison, Bully, Mutch, Veno, Streete, Ally Rob, Downing, Thommo, Stowell, Cook were all not much more than journeymen players [apologies to some] but absolutely got the best out of themselves and gave it to us as a club over hundreds of appearances.

Mick's first couple of years and Nuno's initial three seasons were the only other time I've felt so connected to the club. The late 70's/early 80's era [FA cup semis and LC win] was good on paper but I never felt the same affinity. And while I started going before that, my love was for the night games, floodlights, noise, atmosphere and being with my Dad more than the players themselves.

His hairline has been living there for a number of years

Leigh Griffiths rumoured to be getting a deal in Australia. Good to see they're still happy to take British undesirables...
I wonder if the appeal of Oz is that it’s a long way from the CSA!

He turns 32 this month. So he was 22/23 when he played for us.
