He was the one who made the run for the cross to Jimenez, but he's not the sort of player you want crossing it.

Donks pass map will just be two arrows, one each to Kilman and Jonny. Waste of a shirt. Raul's not getting much joy with balls in to feet, Podence looks the only threat but also incredibly unlikeable, and his decision making on when to dive is fucking wank.

Sa, Neves, Joao and Jonny are the only ones earning their money today. Better in the last ten minutes but very little threat or control

Missed the first twenty five. Sounds like we handed them the initiative then grew into it. We haven't been awful since I watched but we aren't causing them much bother unless we can get it to Podence with some movement around him.

Jonny is so good though. Such a top footballer.

That's pretty much all he's done, although he has passed to Neves.

I can't remember him making any completed passes forward and he's actively hiding by making runs where the ball can't be passed to him.

Neves looked at him at one point and Donk pointed back to Coady as he didn't want it. That's unforgivably cowardly.

OK, the overwhelming majority of donk's passes are to Kilman and Jonny. I'd much prefer our most attacking midfielder (in terms of average position when we're in possession) to be capable of receiving the ball on the half turn and play progressive passes, than to persistently pointlessly recycle possession and slow the game down.

That should clear it up.

Basically Neves should be the one further ahead than Donk at all times. But Neves doesn't make those runs into the channel or into the box so Bruno thinks it's a good idea to do it the other way round.
