Euro 2020

I think Adrian Durham was right. Alcohol was part of the issue but Colombian marching powder was a big factor too.

Huge problem a lot of them using it probably have jobs where they’re random drug tested to.

Going to the semi final shed loads of it was being sniffed up openly on the tables in the train carriage I was stood in.

It has been endemic with all day drinking for some time now, before coke it was whizz which was a little less obvious.

Haven't people seen it at Molinuex? I've seen or more accruately heard it countless times and that's in the NB so I'd imagine the SB is worse.

Loads of people blatantly coked up at the Man Utd quarter final.

Toilet cubical in the men’s is usually used for anything but going to the toilet.

Maybe I've been lucky or more likely I'm just not very observant but never seen any sign of snorting or people being 'coked up to the eyeballs' at the football.
Tbh at the cup semi, we were in an area where it was really good atmosphere, not even anybody pissed that I could discern

It's absolutely rampant everywhere.

The pub on a Friday, the football on a Saturday, the races, the golf. It's completely endemic.

If you haven't seen it it's because you haven't looked for it rather than because it isn't happening.

The golf?!

I've never partaken myself, doesn't appeal, but I get that for some people it's all part and parcel of a good night out. I don't see how that ties in with a day watching golf though? If a big day out coked off your tits is your bag then surely there are more suitable ways to spend your day than watching golf?!

Half the teams I played against in a Wednesday night darts league were on it.
I genuinely don't get it.

It’s a very dangerous thing firstly highly addictive and secondly you’re playing god with own health each time you consume it.
Thirdly as said a lot of employers in certain industries will want you to take a drug and alcohol test prior employment.

Never seen it in the pubs I frequent these days, no never noticed it at the Molineux....never been to the races or golf.
Only places I've seen a lot or been offered it was when I used to go to bike rallies and that was 30+ years ago.
I know it happens, SiL was working in pubs up till about 18 months ago and her last job of the evening when closing up was going round picking up 'bags' some empty, some still full.

Coke doesn't turn people into violent twats intent on causing damage, unless that's what they are, and what they were going to do anyway. They'll be brawling yobs with or without it.

EDIT - if anything, coke will take the edge off the booze tbf

The twat Wolves "fan" who sent abuse to Rashford doing a good job of digging himself a bigger hole.

A DAD arrested over a racist post to Marcus Rashford has admitted he may have sent it while drunk.

Nick Scott, 50, originally denied sending the vile message after the Three Lions striker missed a penalty in Sunday's heartbreaking final.

But he has now admitted he may have “unknowingly” sent the offensive remarks while drunk. Scott also begged for the Utd striker's forgiveness and revealed he benefited from the star’s free meals campaign. The football coach told The Sun: “I was hammered at the time and don't remember doing it.

"But if I did I want Marcus to know that I'm truly sorry and I apologise sincerely.

“After everything he’s done for my kids and all the other kids in the country with the free school meals.

"He’s absolutely brilliant. He’s helped my family and I can’t thank him enough.”

Scott also insisted he is not racist, adding: "I’m a quarter black South African myself and I was married to a German.”

It has now emerged Scott was married to "Lotto Gran" Susanne Hinte in 1999. She hit the headlines in January 2016 when she tried to claim a £33million jackpot with a ticket she said she accidentally put in the washing machine. But the true winner eventually came forward with a real ticket and her scam was exposed.

Susanne died from a heart attack aged 49 in August 2017.Scott was one of four people arrested in relation to racist abuse aimed at the England players.

A tweet from the dad's Twitter page was posted minutes after Rashford missed a penalty. The message said: "Marcus Rashford that MBE needs burning ya fake. Pack them bags and get to ya own country."

Yeah, I have a few pints and that makes me hate black people, of course.

He can keep digging. Think Bear also posted another historic tweet of his that was obviously racist too.
And the fucker was a football coach for goodness sake!

Didn't want to talk about the game today, but of course customers had different ideas. I managed to bite my lip as Americans (hi Alan) offered opinions on where England went wrong, whilst also showing how little attention they actually paid to the game. Some of them are very good customers, but it was difficult to not shout at one guy who insisted

- all the England penalty takers had just played 120 minutes
- he would have done better than one player (Rashford) who watched the keeper dive one way then missed by 5 foot the other way
- 70% of games at the Euros finished in a tie
- they only have penalties for the semis and final
- nobody likes 1-1, so they should make the goals 6 foot wider
- then scrap offside, but have 2 goalies per side
I didn't know my dad had been in San Antonio last week!

Anywhere there is a crowd of blokes boozing all day, there will be a little marching band of Columbian powder following along - like night follows day.
