Derby (A): Build up

Rumour on twitter is Edwards and Graham not included in the squad?

Graham maybe rested after getting a full 90 midweek? I didn't think he'd done anything to harm his chances...

Unless he agrees with me, then was told he wouldn't start tomorrow, and had a row with Nuno.

Price will be in for Edwards, as Nuno has seen Edwards is terrible. Graham will have dropped out the squad for Cav.

The former makes sense, Graham though did a good job when he came on last week, he used his pace well to waste some time towards the end. Ronan for example won't do that, so for me he'd be on the bench

Graham did take a whack on his ankle on Tuesday and at one point Doherty was called back from his warm up and looked like he was coming on. So maybe he is struggling with that and with us having a strong squad these days (crazy I know), if you are not 100% then it's not worth the risk

But maybe he wants Ronan in the squad as he can cover CM (probably first reserve ahead of price) and two of the attacking positions. And I guess he like two CBs on the bench as Coady can always move forward.

If it was me I'd have Norris, Batth, Graham, Price, Ronan, Bright, Dicko.

I think we'll be unchanged today, with Cav on the bench to start with.

I'm going with my Derby STH mate and am in with him and the Derby fans in the South Stand Upper so hopefully will be sitting on my hands when we score.

Shouldn't read too much in to Graham not being included (if true). We have another tough game on Tuesday - they come thick and fast & the whole squad will be used at varying levels/points throughout the season.

Derby fans seem to think we're being rather arrogant as we expect to beat them. I'd level the same accusation at them. It'll be a good game between two teams who should be up there.

BBC Match facts

Derby have won each of their last three home league games against Wolves, racking up 12 goals at an average of four per game, with eight of those coming in the first half.

Last season Wolves lost both league games against Derby for the first time since 1992-93 - they haven't lost three games in a row against them since November 1991.

Chris Martin has scored more league goals than any other player in the previous three Championship seasons (43, including play-offs).

Wolves' last four Championship wins have all come by a single goal to nil, including their opening day victory against Middlesbrough.

The Rams have lost only once in their last 18 league games at Pride Park (W11 D6 L1).

Wolves lost their last away game in the Championship - 1-3 versus Derby at Pride Park in April. However, they have netted in nine of their last 10 away league games.

If you like stats., here's one..

Cav got sent off against Derby, so hasn't played in the league since April, and his first game back will be against.....Derby.

That's the kind of thing that peabrained pundits would say is "ironic" despite there being nothing vaguely ironic about it at all.

Or a free ride when you've already paid?

I didn't go on the ride because I had no money, ironically, it turned out to be free. i F$%^$ hate that song

Bright starts ahead of the returning Cav.

Soon they'll have to just change the definition of ironic to fit with that damn song.

No Batth? Timbo won't be happy.

Finally a manager who sees though Edwards..

Pleased for Bright starting again!
