Dean Watch.

Not sure about that..shit managers seems to get second,third,fourth...a million chances

Dropping like a stone. I feel so sorry for the Chesterfield fans. A good bunch and they don't deserve to have their club infected by that poison.

Thanks. The turnaround from last season is incredible. We still have good players despite selling some serious talent for good money over the summer (see how well Clucas and Darikwa are doing at Hull and Burnley respectively) but there is zero feel good factor. They don't seem to be enjoying it like the lads were last season and there is no plan. It's a shambles. We can't keep a clean sheet and can't win at home. We are in big trouble..

Didnt mean that in a bad way DeanoOut..i was glad the fraud Dean Saunders lost again, not your club..

Relatively speaking, are they not in a better position than us?

They've lost 8 of their last 13 league games, one win at home since the opening day and have the worst manager in Britain at the helm, so I would say no.

Which is a similar record to ours, is it not?

We should certainly be doing better than that, should Chesterfield?

We should be doing better, of course. I wouldn't trade places with Chesterfield if I were a Newport fan though.

Yes we should. Won the league two seasons ago. Play offs last season. We were on the crest of a wave with a genuinely good squad. We appointed a cheap option with a history of failure then sold off the silver. Saunders has the biggest budget in our history at his disposal. The league is average at best so we should have pushed on. Play offs at worst. Instead? I'll take staying up now. No plan. No passion. Football isn't fun anymore. Weekends are about family time for me from now.

Exactly how I'm feeling at the moment too.

I'm not sure what the point of this comparison is - I know that I wouldn't want to watch a Dean Saunders team again if you paid me.

Ah, there you are Dean.

Saunders said: "We shouldn't have lost that game. We could have scored three in the first three minutes..." (The Sentinel)

Saunders gives a compelling case for compulsory drug testing of football managers.

I really cannot see Chesterfield ending up in a relegation battle. Though if they do, Dean Saunders cannot lay blame elsewhere. He said the problems at Wolves and Crawley was because he came in half way through the season with both clubs already in a bad situation. The same cannot be said about Chesterfield, he took over a club on the up.

The man is an abomination to football. His character and personality have no place as a football manager.

To all chesterfield fans, like others have said my heart went out to you when he was appointed. He is beyond a buffoon. I pray for your sakes you bin him off asap. Get the protests going. It's the only way you'll avoid relegation.

And turned it into a shambles.

At least he can say they had more possession so deserved to win....oh wait he can't 45% tonight....ok, maybe should have scored 4 in the first 2.3 seconds.....oh no not a single shot on target. Must be Paul Cooks fault then
