Strong line up for me knowing Ruddy is playing I'd go:

Ruddy
Hoever Coady Saiss Kilman Ait Nouri
Dendoncker Neves
Traore Silva Neto

Really want us to have a go at the cup this year, especially if the board see it is a transition season and mid table is fine. Go strong, get the game done in 90 minutes and hopefully build the confidence a bit

Unless we find a striker this will be exit from FA. That might not be completely bad because we need to concentrate on EPL and staying above the 17th spot on table

Depends what side Roy puts out - they have a somewhat resurgent Arsenal away though not till next Thursday

We wont find a striker in the next couple of hours, so it will be Silva or Cutrone (if cleared)

We dont need to concentrate on 17th in the league, we arent going down

You think we are in danger of going down?
It’s highly unlikely but not completely out of the question it would be Saunders levels of a fuck up if we did tho.

Silva to score then Cutrone to come on for the last 20 minutes and grab a goal to seal a 2-0 win. Stop laughing at the back!

Would be worse than Saunders-level I reckon. We have taken 8 points from 8 games since we lost Raul (including the Arsenal game) with games against Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs in there. If we carry on at a point per game until the end of the season we finish on 43 points. More than enough to stay up.

If we end up in any trouble near the bottom three Nuno will be gone.

On the day we appointed Saunders (that still turns my stomach, eight years on), we were six points clear of the bottom three with 20 games left to play. We were also terrible, and anyone can beat anyone in the Championship. And we'd just handed the keys to the worst manager in the entire Football League.

Today we are 11 points clear of the bottom three, albeit Fulham have two games in hand on us currently, and we have 21 games left to play. Albion and Sheff Utd are 14 and 20 points (plus goal difference) behind us respectively, with no games in hand. We are not terrible, and Fulham (let alone Brighton/Burnley/Newcastle etc) are highly unlikely to all go flying up the table, they'll lose more than they win.

It'd be beyond Saunders levels of catastrophe, it'd be a completely freakish event. If it bothers anyone that much, we're 80/1 with Sky Bet to go down right now. I would suggest that isn't even a good price, the actual chances are closer to 800/1.

People are forgetting we're usually terrible in the early rounds of cups. Especially if we play lots of kids. We get excited to see them, then by 60 mins we're screaming to get the subs on.

Just tempering expectations if we put out a young side.

Meh, was keen to watch this. Not with that team.
