We have a game on Tuesday and Saturday lunchtime, the latter against a team that will have had a weeks rest. Hodgson throws cup games so they'll put out a weak side as well. Personally I think as strong as possible would be foolish given the above and the current injury situation. In all our other Premier league campaigns we have either been battling against relegation or battling for a European place so playing a weakened team in the FA cup has made sense (Nuno hasn't done this though), this season when neither is an issue i see no reason why we shouldn't take the cup seriously.
I expect Nuno to go as strong as possible.
This is where I am now. Straight after Brighton game I was in the send in the U18's camp and rest this lot but a strongish team and a win could put us back on trackWe will benefit more from the positive effects of a much needed win that is more likely with a strong team,
Wouldn’t say 3 games in 8 days is a big deal. Plus there’s only really Neto who has had any sort of workload this year and even that is moderate. We have a game on Tuesday and Saturday lunchtime, the latter against a team that will have had a weeks rest. Apart from Hoever for Semedo i would go with that as long as Cutrone is cleared, and Donk is fit to play.Let's use this as a "free" game to get fitness up and get used to a formation and style.
Patricio
Semedo - Coady - Saiss - RAN
Dendoncker - Neves
Traore - MGW - Neto
Cutrone
I don't think anyone on here thinks he makes up shit. We all know he has contacts, as his articles and transfer dismissals have proven. He never had such contacts when at the E&S and some of the neg rep he has is a hangover from those days or my view point, just not a fan of his style of writing opinion pieces....however he didn't need contacts for that info as Nuno said it during his presser and interviews after. The man with no contacts has just posted the following:
Palace tomorrow night. Nuno revealed today that John Ruddy will start in goal. Adama Traore also in the XI. Gibbs-White is available, Cutrone dependent on international clearance. Expecting a strong team.
I agree with all of that and would add I don’t think he knows about the game itself. Not a clue on the administrative (like Michael Calvin) or the playing side (Jonathon Wilson).I don't think anyone on here thinks he makes up shit. Do many people really pay that much attention to journalists these days? In fact I'm surprised the clubs bother much with them as they all have their own news delivery services via social media.I agree with all of that and would add I don’t think he knows about the game itself. He has views on squad building but I doubt you could have an in depth conversation on tactics, coaching or player attributes. And I’m consistently amazed that people hold him in high regard in these aspects.
