Watching the game at a bar in Faro. Not much in this I feel, could go either way. No-one standing out to me as having a great game, but not is anyone playing badly. Jonny probably our best player so far, but not nlby much.

First half mostly Palace in possession and whilst there has been plenty of pressure they haven't really cut us open or hurt us in any way. We have countered a few times a great save from Hen on Jimenez and Jota with a woeful shot from a very good opening.

That said Jota has been one of our better players. Weather not helping and it's not exactly pretty.

I could see this being 0-0

IMO part of the reason Costa hasn't done much is that Doherty hasn't really gotten forward. Seems like Zaha is favouring that side so I just wonder if he's hanging back more than normal as a precaution.

Jota's been a mixed bag, gave it away a few times and a pretty bad miskick towards the end...but could easily have had an assist or two if Raul had his shooting boots on.

Jonny and Coady been excellent, IMO.

I get we’re a good counter attacking side - but I’d like to see us take control of possession in the middle a little more then we have done so far. Palace won’t cope with us if we press them back but we seem happy to let them have the ball and then to counter them.

Havent seen the first half but sounds like a 50-50 game with Zaha causing us some difficulties as expected..how good were Jimenez chances? Will watch the second half and hope we can win this one

Nice to see the positivity on here. Bit surprised too, if I'm honest. I've been thinking this has got 'last on MOTD' written all over it. Palace do look a less than imposing side, but we haven't exactly been pulling up trees either. Defence don't really look under threat (though I could have strangled the commentator when he said 'Wolves just don't concede goals' just before half time). We seem to be giving the ball away more than usual, and have disappointed a few times from good positions, but I'm still hopeful we'll come good second half and sneak a win. We don't deserve any more than 0-0 at half time though.

Agree with a lot of that but I’ll take last on MOTD every week if it means we pick up points/wins.

Ominous sign for Palace is we’re better in the second half of games. Already started the 2nd half much better.
