Crystal Palace (A) 06.10.2018

Yes think we are thank you mate

Don’t want to piss on anyone’s chips but it hasn’t got a hope in hell of reaching 1010 points. I think there’s about 70 left and still two full days on 1030 points.

Thanks for the heads up pal - didn’t realise there was so few left

Usual team I guess unless Costa is injured, then play Cav on the right.

Nearly 25 years since Chris Armstrong scored that absolute thunderbastard against us in the Cup.

25 years since I last visited there then! Looking forward to Saturday.

I was there too, Sid Cowans scored i think? Flipping long way on a coach.

Yep, blatant foul too. No idea how we got away with that one. Basically piggybacked Bobby Bowry on the edge of the box.

I last went in 2007, doubt I'll go again, life's too short for that shit.

Only time I have been to Selhurst Park is when Wimbledon were playing there & if they hadn't sprayed free tickets round all of the Primary Schools anywhere near (& I wasn't that near) would have been playing in front of 1 man & a dog.

Best moment was from a position just behind the goal & a Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink thunderbolt into the top corner - if it hadn't gone in the goal someone could have died - it was going that fast

I remember seeing Jamie Smith score his only wolves goal there

Palace very much second best to Bournemouth so far tonight. Jordan Ayew is no kind of focal point up front.

I really hope Ayew starts against us, meat and drink for our back three.

They're struggling for alternatives. Benteke is unlikely to be fit (not that he's been any good for ages), Wickham is permanently broken (not that he's ever been any good) and Sorloth looks like Mikkel Beck II.

I was reading about them all this morning, we’ll Benteke and Ayew anyway. I’d completely forgot that Wickham even existed and Sorloth is pretty muck as well. Don’t give them a penalty for Milivojevic if and we should be laughing.

Last time I went there Venables was the manager.

The coach was parked in a kind of large dip on some waste ground and as we went back, the Palace fans stood around the top of the dip and pelted us with bricks and stones.

Ahhhh....the good old days!

Coady and Jonny are better than Tomkins and PVA.
